Rythiya Dylan Moek Head Coach: I'm a sophomore at Denver Metropolitan State University, where I major in accounting. I grew up in Colorado and am the oldest of four siblings, as well as an older stepbrother. My family is Cambodian, and I enjoy music, anime, volleyball, and video games. If you'd like to know more, please don't hesitate to ask! I also love all kinds of Asian food.
I have been interested in volleyball since I was in elementary school. In my sophomore year at Denver West High School, I was the manager for the girls' volleyball team. During my junior year, I played my first season of club volleyball for Silverback, where we reached our peak in Division 2. Later, I transferred to Clash and competed in Division 3. As a college freshman at MSU Denver, I joined the men's volleyball club team.
This is my first year coaching, and becoming a head coach feels both challenging and exciting. My coaching style focuses on building unity, passion, and dedication within Silverback, the club where I first fell in love with volleyball. I hope to inspire every athlete with a competitive spirit and a strong sense of teamwork. I'm looking forward to leading the team and appreciate everyone's support.

Gavin McCurdy Asst. Coach: Greetings, my name is Gavin McCurdy, and I am a Silverback Volleyball assistant coach. I played volleyball for my high school DSST: Conservatory Green and played on Silverback as well. I currently work at Chick-fil-A as a driver. My favorite things to do are play volleyball and video games. My coaching philosophy is to please make mistakes, but make sure to deeply learn from every mistake you make. I’m coaching because obviously I love volleyball, but more than that, I coach boys' volleyball because I know how hard it can be getting into volleyball as a guy, and I know if they tried, everyone would love it. Nice to meet all of you! :D

Jasmine Goldstein, BSN, RN. Coach Development & Support:
Jasmine grew up with a deep passion for volleyball, playing competitively throughout high school and spending several years in club. Her love for the game naturally transitioned into coaching, where she found joy in working with the girls' and boys' teams at Silverback. She values the opportunity to mentor both players and fellow coaches, using her experience to uplift others on and off the court.
Outside of volleyball, Jasmine serves her community in another profound way—as a registered nurse caring for cancer patients. Her compassion, dedication, and strength carry over into everything she does, including her volunteer work with Silverback. Through coaching, she continues to give back to the kids in her community, combining her love for the sport with her commitment to making a difference.

Kelly Carter is our Silverback Club Fundraising Coordinator. She first joined the Silverback Family in 2021, when her daughter, now 18, became an assistant coach. Coach Aysia also attended one of our summer open gyms that year. Since then, Kelly has always stepped in to help and support our mission. Last season, Kelly’s fundraising helped Silverback finish with positive funds for the second year in a row!
I was born in California, but I grew up in the Far Northeast area of Denver. I love Colorado because I’ve had the chance to explore so many places here, from Grand Junction to the Great Sand Dunes. My family and I have spent countless evenings and weekends traveling for volleyball, which has always been a big part of our lives. From recreation leagues to competitive teams, we’ve supported our daughters every step of the way. Balancing work and family isn’t always easy, but we make it work. I also coach volleyball at DSST GVR High School, where both of my daughters play, and it’s been so rewarding to watch young athletes grow and achieve new things. When I’m not working or coaching, I enjoy spending time with my semi-retired husband and our daughters, Alyssa and Aysia. I also love cooking, listening to music, watching movies with my family, and taking photos to relax.
