Anna Schneemann is the Founder and Director of Silverback, which was launched in 2019 with its inaugural season in 2020. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Silverback offers an inclusive, affordable, and competitive club experience for all families. Since 1995, Anna has been deeply involved with Colorado Volleyball. She was a DI recruit out of Boulder High School, where she played as an outside hitter and setter, and also served as a high school and club coach, ultimately becoming our director. She is passionate about ball control and passing, and dedicated to sharing the sport with everyone.

Outside of volleyball, Anna is a devoted wife and mother. She and her husband, Adam, have been married for 11 years and have three children: Oriana (8), Virgil (7), and Gabriel (3). Anna enjoys spending time with her family, exploring genealogy, and caring for her succulents. She worked in veterinary medicine for 13 years and has many tattoos celebrating her family. Anna looks forward to traveling more and hopes to one day open a senior dog rescue on a farm. She follows the Platinum Rule: do unto others as they wish to be done unto.
